Dry Needling Workshop

PUA’s Faculty of Physical Therapy hosted a workshop on the significance of dry needling as safe and effective therapeutic technique. The workshop was moderated by Dr. El Hassan Mortada, who began with a theoretical lecture that introduced participants to the principles of dry needling and its effectiveness in addressing various musculoskeletal issues.

The workshop emphasized important scientific observations that can influence treatment outcomes. Following the lecture, students had the opportunity for hands-on practice, learning how to properly insert and extract needles from the body while observing necessary safety precautions.

To conclude the workshop, Dr. El Hassan provided a review of common mistakes made during practical application, highlighting key practical points to enhance understanding and skill in dry needling techniques.
