PUA-Aristotle Joint Cooperation Continues
As part of the ongoing collaboration between PUA and Aristotle University in Greece, PUA’s Architectural Engineering Department concluded a successful joint workshop that began in last July. The event was part of an agreement between the two institutions aimed at enhancing academic cooperation and providing students with hands-on experience.
the workshop hosted a Greek delegation consisting of nine students and a faculty member from Aristotle University, who visited PUA to continue the collaborative project. Over the course of three days, the workshop included specialized lectures, field visits, and collaborative project work. A key focus of the workshop was the urban design project aimed at developing the southern part of the Waterfalls Park in Alexandria.
The event that was supervised by Prof. Dr. Ramadan Abdel Maqsoud, Academic Supervisor of the Architectural Engineering Department, provided a platform for students from both universities to work together on real-world projects, thereby enhancing their practical skills and fostering a deeper understanding of urban design and development.
This collaboration exemplified PUA commitment to enhancing international academic partnerships, enriching students’ learning experiences, and applying theoretical knowledge to practical, impactful projects.
