Tourism’s 9th Job Fair

To encourage students to integrate into the tourism and hospitality labor market, PUA’s Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management hosted the 9th Job Fair. Held over two days at the faculty’s premises, the fair featured the participation of several leading institutions in the tourism and hospitality sectors. It was attended by a distinguished group of university leaders, including Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Mohieldin, PUA’s President; Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President; Prof. Dr. Mohamed Nassar, Dean of the Faculty; and Prof. Dr. Ghada Bassiouny, Vice Dean.
Students and graduates had the opportunity to engage with representatives from the participating institutions and explore available training and employment opportunities in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and keen interest. The event also included on-site job interviews conducted by visiting organizations, offering students the chance to secure professional roles in the tourism and hospitality industry. This reflects the faculty’s commitment to creating tangible opportunities for its graduates in both local and international markets.
The first day’s program featured orientation sessions on the nature of work in the tourism and hospitality sectors, as well as overviews of employment requirements and career advancement paths in these fields. The fair is part of the faculty’s continuous efforts to link students with the labor market and to strengthen partnerships with major companies and institutions in the tourism and hospitality industries, with the aim of offering real career prospects for its graduates locally and globally
