PUA’s Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management organized an orientation day to welcome its freshman students. The program included an opening speech, followed by a comprehensive overview of the faculty’s structure, academic programs, and study system, along with an introduction to its departments and academic advising framework.

The event featured insightful talks from industry experts and distinguished graduates, who shared their experiences and provided guidance on navigating the challenges of the labor market. Additionally, the role of the Career Development and Entrepreneurship Center (CDEC) was emphasized, highlighting its support in career development. The activities of the “Green Pharos Committee” were also discussed, encouraging students to adopt environmentally friendly practices, such as proper waste disposal and the efficient use of water, energy, and paper.

The orientation day concluded with a guided tour of the faculty’s simulation facilities, providing students with hands-on insights into the practical aspects of their education. Faculty members, assistants, and current students actively participated in the tour, fostering an engaging and welcoming atmosphere for the new students.
