The Quality Assurance Unit at PUA’s Faculty of Engineering continues its dedicated efforts to raise awareness about the significance of quality assurance and to monitor the educational process by measuring performance indicators and evaluating educational inputs and outputs.

In this context, the Training and Awareness Committee organized a lecture entitled “Techniques of Preparing and Reviewing Course Specification and Reporting”. The lecture targeted faculty members and teaching assistants and was delivered by Dr. Amira El-Adly, Deputy Director of the Quality Assurance Unit and Coordinator of the Unit’s Survey Committee.

The session covered the scientific and technical foundations required to prepare and review course descriptions and reports in alignment with the standards set by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE). The aim was to foster continuous improvement in the educational process and enhance the level of academic performance across the faculty.

The lecture witnessed significant interaction from the attendees, who actively participated in discussions on implementing quality standards and achieving the educational objectives of their courses. Many questions were raised regarding practical approaches to integrating these standards effectively.

At the conclusion of the event, a commemorative photo was taken of the participants to mark the occasion, reflecting the Faculty’s ongoing commitment to improving education quality and promoting practices of continuous development and academic excellence.
