As part of PUA’s student activities programs, the Faculty of Arts and Design held a distinguished seminar on sustainable and environmentally friendly university standards, under the supervision of the Student Activities Department. The seminar aimed to raise students’ awareness about the importance of implementing environmental sustainability standards in educational institutions and their critical role in achieving sustainable development.

The seminar covered several key topics, including the significance of sustainable universities in promoting environmental development and the responsibilities of students and faculty members in supporting sustainability by adopting eco-friendly practices. Practical examples of globally recognized environmentally friendly universities were presented, offering inspiration and best practices for implementing sustainability in academic environments.

This initiative reflects the Faculty’s commitment to spreading a culture of environmental sustainability and encouraging students to contribute to building a greener future. Further, the seminar emphasized how students could integrate sustainability into their campus activities and daily lives, fostering a more environmentally conscious community.
