The Construction Engineering and Management Department at PUA’s Faculty of Engineering delivered a scientific seminar titled “Smart Home Solutions,” in collaboration with Smartified, a leading company specializing in smart systems with over 10 years of experience. The event, supervised by the Student Activities Department, was presented by Eng. Mahmoud Fayez, a graduate of the Department’s first batch, brought an additional sense of pride to the department.

During the seminar, Eng. Fayez discussed the latest technologies in smart homes, including advanced programs for controlling various home systems such as gas and electricity, lighting, air conditioning, security monitoring, and home appliances. The students showed great interest, engaging in a lively discussion and asking numerous questions about the practical applications of these technologies in daily life.

The event was well-received, with students expressing their appreciation for the valuable insights provided on how technology enhances daily living and contributes to making homes safer and more efficient. This initiative reflects the Faculty of Engineering’s commitment to enriching students’ knowledge and exposing them to cutting-edge technological advancements.
