SketchUp Techniques and Applications
PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design held a workshop titled “SketchUp Techniques and Applications in Interior Architecture”, presented by Eng. Heidi Pasha, a teaching assistant, Décor Department. The workshop aimed to familiarize students with the tools and features of SketchUp, a leading 3D design software, with a focus on its applications in interior architecture.
During the session, Eng. Heidi demonstrated how to use SketchUp’s tools to create accurate and professional 3D models, enabling students to transform their creative ideas into realistic designs quickly and efficiently. Practical examples were showcased to illustrate how these techniques can be applied in real-world projects, enhancing the design process and improving communication with clients.
The workshop drew the attentions of numerous students, who actively engaged with the content and expressed great interest in applying these techniques to their future projects. The interactive nature of the session allowed participants to gain hands-on experience, fostering a deeper understanding of the software’s capabilities.
This initiative is part of the Faculty’s ongoing efforts to provide applied educational opportunities that refine students’ skills and enhance their creative abilities. By equipping students with cutting-edge tools and techniques, the faculty ensures they are well-prepared to enter the labor market with confidence and high efficiency, ready to tackle the challenges of the design industry.
