In a proud moment for academic and athletic excellence, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, PUA’s Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, awarded the University Medal to Eyad Amr Hafez Mohamed, a freshman pharmacy student, following his historic victories at the World Powerlifting Championship.
Eyad clinched the Silver Medal (2nd place) in the Full Power category (465 kg total) and the Bronze Medal (3rd place) in the Deadlift (200 kg) under the 67.5 kg weight class, cementing his status as a rising star in global powerlifting. His achievements mark a new milestone for PUA’s growing legacy in international sports.
