Pharos University in Alexandria (PUA) participated in the Alexandria Governorate Universities Championship, which brought together eight public and private universities [Alexandria University (AU), Alexandria National University (ANU), Damanhour University (DU), Pharos University in Alexandria (PUA), Egyptian-Japanese University of Science and Technology (EJUST), Rashid University (RU), Borg Al Arab Technological University, Alamein International University (AIU)] as part of the “100 Days of Sports” initiative, held from February 4 to 13.
The volleyball championship, hosted by Alexandria University, witnessed an outstanding performance from PUA’s team. The team secured a 2-0 victory against AU in the opening match, followed by another 2-0 win against ANU. On the second day, they triumphed over AIU with a 2-1 score, and concluded the championship with a well-deserved 2-0 victory over DU.
With this impressive streak, PUA was crowned champion, securing first place and the gold medal, marking a remarkable sporting achievement that highlights PUA’s excellence in both academic and athletic fields.
