The Pharmacology and Therapeutics Department at PUA’s Faculty of Pharmacy hosted a collaborative meeting with representatives from the Free University of Berlin. The delegation included Prof. Dr. Burkhard Klaus, Head of the Pharmacology and Toxicology Department; Dr. Fabian Schumacher, Head of the Pharmaceutical Analysis Department; along with Dr. Ahmed Hassan. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Nisreen Saeed, Acting Head of the Pharmacology and Toxicology Department at PUA’s Faculty of Pharmacy, with the presence of relevant faculty members.
Dr. Nisreen Saeed commenced the meeting with an introductory speech, outlining the department’s goals, activities, academic programs, and the most prominent ongoing research projects. She also emphasized PUA’s latest advancements in pharmaceutical education, including the adoption of modern teaching methodologies aimed at enhancing the learning experience.
The meeting featured discussions on various mutual areas of interest, where both parties exchanged insights and explored potential avenues for strengthening future collaboration, particularly in scientific research.
