As part of its pioneering role and the “Celebrity Meet” series of events, PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design hosted an exceptional meeting with renowned fashion designer Mohamed Khafaga. The discussion focused on his professional journey and remarkable experience designing the costumes and jewelry for the Royal Mummies Parade, a global event that captivated the world in April 2021.

Khafaga shared insights into the creative process behind the event, emphasizing how he successfully showcased Egypt’s authentic identity through his designs. He also highlighted the significance of blending heritage with modernity in fashion, offering inspiring advice to students and enthusiasts in the design and creative industries, while stressing the importance of originality and creativity for achieving excellence.

Mohamed Khafaga, who began his career in 2010, co-founded the “Moga Khafaga” brand, now recognized as a symbol of innovation and authenticity in fashion and jewelry design.
