Over the course of three days, Pharos University in Alexandria (PUA) hosted lecturers from external training providers to guide students on the nature, mechanisms, and schedules of field training within each institution, as well as the available resources and how to maximize the benefits of the training period. The meeting was attended by representatives from the Engineers Syndicate, including Eng. Mohamed Mahmoud El-Saadi, a member of the Syndicate Council and Head of the Engineering Sciences and Training Committee, and Eng. Mostafa El-Sebaei, a Syndicate member, alongside Eng. Ahmed Lotfy from Ethydco and Eng. Ibrahim Ezz El-Din, Director of the Administrative Affairs Department at Alexandria Electricity Distribution Company. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, PUA’s Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, delivered a speech emphasizing the significance of field training as a fundamental pillar of the educational process, highlighting its role in preparing students for the labor market and enhancing their practical skills.
