Within the framework of its cooperation with the United Nations, specifically through its partnership with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (UNESCWA), Pharos University in Alexandria (PUA) participated in an event focused on training, work, and employment opportunities for youth in Egypt. The PUA delegation comprised ten students, who engaged in discussions on employment prospects for small and medium-sized enterprises, an initiative sponsored by the Ministry of Solidarity and the Naguib Sawiris Foundation.

During the event, PUA students delivered two separate speeches. The first addressed the challenges young people face in the labor market, while the second focused on preparing with the necessary skills and tools for employment. In addition to PUA students, representatives from Cairo University, Alexandria University, and the American University in Cairo also participated, contributing to a diverse and comprehensive dialogue on youth employment in Egypt.
