Preparing Course Descriptions and Matrices Workshop

As part of its preparations for programmatic and institutional accreditation, the Quality Assurance Unit at PUA’s Faculty of Pharmacy hosted a workshop titled “How to Prepare Course Descriptions and Matrices for the Competency-Based System.” The workshop aimed to enhance faculty members’ skills and equip them to meet accreditation standards.
The session featured a detailed presentation on the process of preparing course descriptions and matrices, covering the latest updates and revisions. It also addressed key observations from internal reviews, amendments to course reports and files, and essential requirements for drafting a self-study for institutional and programmatic evaluation.
The workshop was attended by the vice-deans, department heads, and faculty members, along with teaching assistants from various academic departments. At the end of the session, an interactive discussion allowed participants to raise questions and receive comprehensive answers, ensuring maximum benefit.
