Physical Therapy’s Scientific Day

PUA’s Faculty of Physical Therapy organized its scientific day under the supervision of the Student Activities Department, focusing on an innovative device designed to aid paralysis patients. Dr. Mina Ashraf, who presented the device, explained how it helps patients regain motor abilities such as walking, standing, bending, and sitting. The device also plays a significant role in improving blood circulation, enhancing the functions of the respiratory and digestive systems, and preventing muscle spasms and atrophy.

The event was attended by several prominent figures, including Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Amir Nazih, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Therapy. Numerous faculty students, faculty members and teaching assistants, also participated in the event, showing great interest in this scientific advancement aimed at improving the lives of paralysis patients.
