In the spirit of fostering collaboration and development, PUA’s Faculty of Pharmacy held its annual meeting for faculty members and teaching assistants. The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, along with vice-deans, heads of departments, faculty members, and teaching assistants.
The meeting commenced with the Dean expressing gratitude and appreciation to all faculty members for their dedicated efforts during the 2023-2024 academic year, encouraging them to maintain a collaborative spirit to achieve further successes. He highlighted significant accomplishments while also emphasizing the need for development in certain areas to enhance excellence.
Key topics addressed during the meeting included the launch of the compulsory training unit for sixth-year students, where the role of faculty members in monitoring and evaluating student performance was clarified. Furthermore, updates on quality assurance measures and academic performance improvements were discussed, with a strong emphasis on the importance of active participation in meeting academic accreditation standards. The role of student activities in developing essential skills and supporting initiatives aimed at achieving these goals was also highlighted.
