Pharmacy’ Orientation Day

PUA’s Faculty of Pharmacy recently held an orientation day, welcoming new students and their families in an engaging and supportive atmosphere at the student theater. The event aimed to familiarize students with the academic programs available and provide them with essential information to start their university careers successfully.

The day began with a warm address by Prof. Dr. Maged El-Ghazouli, Dean of the Faculty, who congratulated the new students and parents on joining the institution. He highlighted the Faculty’s achievements and PUA’s robust resources, emphasizing the distinguished academic staff and the enriching educational environment that fosters the development of students’ abilities and skills. Dr. El-Ghazouli encouraged the students to approach their studies in this noble profession with dedication, noting the essential role of pharmacists in community healthcare and urging them to participate actively in the various college activities.

Following his address, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sherihan Salah El-Din, Acting Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, spoke on campus life, detailing study plans, academic departments, and the range of student services offered. The day concluded with an introductory tour of the faculty’s facilities, providing students with a firsthand look at the resources that will support them throughout their six-year academic journey. This event marked an inspiring start, motivating students as they prepare for their careers in pharmacy.
