Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, PUA’s Faculty of Legal Studies and International Transactions hosted a heartwarming celebration for Orphan Day. The event brought together children from local charitable organizations, reflecting the university’s commitment to social responsibility and uplifting vulnerable youth.
The festivities featured lively activities, including face painting, artistic performances, and interactive games, culminating in gift distributions that sparked smiles across the children’s faces. The atmosphere radiated joy and compassion, turning the occasion into a vivid “humanitarian canvas”—painted by laughter and shared moments of connection.
In a statement, the faculty underscored that true giving extends beyond material support, embracing kindness, quality time, and genuine emotional care. The initiative also highlighted Islam’s emphasis on orphan welfare, urging year-round attention to their needs. “Orphans are inseparable from our societal fabric,” organizers noted. “Their resilience inspires us, but their loss demands our sustained support—both moral and practical—to restore the warmth they’ve been denied.”
