To foster strong connections with new students, PUA’s Faculty of Financial and Administrative Sciences, through the Student Activities and Community Service Committee, organized an engaging orientation day filled with activities.

The day commenced with an address by Prof. Dr. Tarek Taha, Dean of the Faculty, who warmly welcomed the new students and encouraged them to pursue excellence and distinction in their academic and professional journeys. Following this, Dr. Mustafa Shalash provided an overview of the academic advising and credit hour systems, aimed at helping students understand the academic framework and structure of their programs.

Dr. Noha Badr, Executive Director of Community Service and Environmental Development and Head of the Student Activities Committee, then presented the wide range of activities available, urging students to get involved. She also introduced the Entrepreneurship Club and Program, as well as the “Green Pharos” initiative, which promotes sustainability.

In addition, the orientation covered travel and exchange opportunities, emphasizing the partnership with TU Dublin University, which offers students valuable educational and training experiences.
