The Basic Sciences Department at PUA’s Faculty of Engineering recently held a special event called “Marshmallow Day,” organized in coordination with the Student Activities Department. This unique event aimed to foster connections and camaraderie among students as they embarked on their university journey.

Throughout the day, students engaged in interactive activities designed to break the ice and encourage them to share academic experiences and discuss ways to navigate university life’s challenges. The event, attended by Dr. Alaa Khalil, Head of the Department, alongside faculty members and teaching assistants, featured a friendly and informal atmosphere where students enjoyed marshmallows and sweets, strengthening bonds in a lighthearted setting.

Further, students expressed their appreciation for the experience, noting that it helped bridge the gap between them and faculty members, enhancing their sense of community, cooperation, and friendship. This initiative aligns with the university’s commitment to building a sustainable, supportive university environment that prioritizes student well-being and engagement.
