Petra Blinnikka works as a senior lecturer and Minna Tunkkari-Eskelinen works as a principal lecturer in Jamk University of Applied Sciences, Finland. Our main focus at home University is in responsible tourism topics in both companies’ development projects and tourism education.
In December 2022 we were in Erasmus Global + trainer’s exchange in PUA. Wonderful two-days conference titled in Responsible Tourism was run at that time, and Petra had a Keynote speech about Sustainable Travel Finland (STF) which promotes Finland as a responsible tourism destination. Petra was also a panelist on Smart tourism -topic, and Minna was a panelist on Entrepreneurship -session. During the week Minna had thesis assessment criteria consultancy and training discussions about the level of using Bloom´s Taxonomy in thesis evaluation (Jamk) and final project work evaluation (PUA). We both evaluated some courses in their redesigned mode. Petra had the lecture on Responsible Tourism Destination in Theoretical and Case perspectives, and the target group was the last year degree students. We also met two nice students who were in exchange at Jamk. We had very interesting cultural experience and window seat participating students’ talent competition as judges. We end up continuing partnership with the written aims of joint research collaboration in the future.
