Human Resources Development Center Visit
In activation of the field training plan for the students of the Photography Department at PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design for the academic year 2021/2022, a PUA delegation visited the Human Resources Development Center of the Central Agency for Mobilization and Statistics in Alexandria. It was headed by Prof. Dr. Ramadan Abu El Ela, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Hana Yassin, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Design, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shaimaa Khudair, Director of the Faculty’s Field Training Unit.
The delegation was received by Brigadier Dr. Eng. Hossam Morsy, Director of the Center. The visit included a display of the Center’s activities and a tour to inspect the artworks made by the Photography Department students during their field training. These artworks are a practical application of the students’ specialized studies using different materials.
Further, the visit was supervised by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nermin Gomaa, Acting Head of the Photography Department, and Dr. Jilan Hussein, Lecturer in the Photography Department. At the end of the visit, Dr. Hossam Morsi gifted the Center’s shield to Prof. Ramadan Abu El-Ela, along with certificates of appreciation for the delegation’s faculty members, and the faculty members supervising the students’ training.
In addition, the students were given certificates of appreciation and statements of the period spent in their field training.
