As part of their commitment to charitable work and community engagement, PUA’s Faculties of Financial and Administrative Sciences, Languages and Translation, and Arts and Design visited the “Nabaa Al-Hob” Charitable Association for the Care of Children with Cancer. The visit aimed to support needy families of children battling cancer by distributing Ramadan food bags.
A delegation of faculty members and students from these faculties took part in the initiative, personally distributing essential food items to families in need during the holy month of Ramadan. The initiative was warmly received, with attendees highlighting the importance of supporting sick children and their families, especially during a month that embodies the values of solidarity and compassion.
Participants praised the crucial role of educational institutions in serving the community, stressing the need to promote volunteerism and teamwork as key drivers of sustainable development. They also emphasized that such initiatives strengthen student-community connections while providing psychological and moral support to children and their families.
For its part, the Association expressed gratitude and appreciation for this humanitarian initiative, noting its significant impact in improving the lives of children with cancer and alleviating their suffering.
This visit is part of a series of social and charitable initiatives organized by the faculties to encourage student engagement in community service and foster a stronger sense of social responsibility.
