As part of its commitment to enhancing environmental awareness and promoting sustainable practices on campus, PUA’s Faculty of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence hosted the “Green Minds” seminar. The event focused on sustainability in the university community and the importance of adopting environmentally friendly policies to address current environmental challenges. Key topics included reducing the carbon footprint, efficient resource management, and the role of technology in advancing environmental solutions. The seminar also explored sustainable practices such as waste reduction, recycling, energy and water conservation, and the promotion of eco-friendly transportation.

Emphasizing the vital role of universities in fostering a culture of sustainability, the discussion highlighted the integration of environmental concepts into curricula and the implementation of practical projects that contribute to real-world sustainability efforts. This initiative aligns with the PUA’s ongoing efforts to support global climate action and protect natural resources for future generations. The seminar was delivered by Dr. Amr Abdel Fattah, Lecturer in the Faculty’s Computer Science Department.
