Green Businesses: From Idea to Success

As part of its second “Green Pharos” campaign, PUA’s Faculty of Financial and Administrative Sciences held a distinguished seminar titled “Green Businesses: From Idea to Success.” This initiative aligns with PUA’s ongoing efforts to raise awareness about sustainability and environmental responsibility in the business sector. The event attracted a select group of students eager to engage with its insightful discussions.
The seminar featured a lecture by Dr. Ahmed Farouk, an accounting expert at the Economic Courts and an auditor at joint-stock companies. He explored the concept of green businesses and their pivotal role in achieving sustainable development. He also highlighted strategies for transforming innovative ideas into successful, eco-friendly projects that meet global environmental standards. Additionally, he addressed key challenges facing entrepreneurs in this field, along with best practices for financing and managing sustainable enterprises.
The session saw strong engagement from attendees, who posed thought-provoking questions about sustainability mechanisms in finance and management and the role of institutions in supporting the green economy.
At the seminar’s conclusion, participants expressed their appreciation for this initiative, emphasizing its role in promoting a culture of green entrepreneurship.
