PUA’s Pharmacy Students Union presented a seminar titled “General Sport Fields with a Medical Character” to highlight the relationship between medical specialties and sports. The event featured clinical pharmacist Amr El Gamal, a certified gym trainer, Eng. Ahmed Shams, a student at the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, and Rahma Mohamed, a Pharmacy student and a certified swimming coach.

The speakers discussed the significant role of pharmacy as a foundational discipline that supports the development of sports trainers, particularly in areas requiring precise knowledge of healthy nutrition and the physiological effects of exercise. They also emphasized the importance of combining scientific knowledge gained through pharmacy studies with practical skills to enhance sports performance and maintain overall health.

At the end, the Faculty thanked the speakers for their insightful contributions. The teams that secured top places in the football competition were also celebrated, creating a festive atmosphere filled with pride and achievement.
