The Electrical Engineering Department organized a field trip to ElSewedy Electric factories for electrical cables and transformers in the Tenth of Ramadan City. The visitors included students of the Electric Power and Control Program of the Electrical Engineering Department.
The visitors received a warm welcome by the factory management and went on a tour inside the factories, where they were given the chance to link the topics they studied with the industrial environment on the ground.
It is worth noting that the students showed active interaction as they asked numerous questions while watching the practical implementation of the industrial security operations, occupational safety and health. As well as the manufacturing processes and their technologies.
Production lines and the application of quality rules were also seen in factories, where they were linked to useful applications in various fields. These fields included how cables are designed, manufactured, and used in the transmission of electrical energy. In addition to how to design, manufacture, and use electrical transformers in the transmission and distribution stages into the power grid.
Furthermore, keeping pace with the labor market, practical implementation, and industry is an objective strongly sought after by the Electrical Engineering Department. This is in implementation of a planned policy PUA is keen to implement, follow up, and emphasize.
The trip was sponsored by the Student Activities Department, and supervised by Dr. Sahar Abdel Moneim Moussa, T. A. Moaz Sardine, and Eng. Mohamed Elsayed.
