Distributing Ramadan Bags
In a gesture that embodies the values of cooperation and solidarity, PUA’s Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology launched a campaign to distribute Ramadan bags to the faculty’s workers in celebration of the holy month of Ramadan. This initiative reflects the faculty’s commitment to supporting its workers and providing them with assistance during this blessed period.
The campaign involved distributing bags containing essential food supplies to help alleviate the financial burden on workers who play a vital role in ensuring a comfortable and safe educational environment for students. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, expressed his pride in this initiative, emphasizing the importance of recognizing and supporting workers for their contributions to PUA’s success. Dr. Mustafa Abdel Khaleq, Dean of the Faculty, also affirmed the faculty’s dedication to fostering a spirit of giving and solidarity among students and employees alike. He stated, “Our workers are an integral part of our success in providing a distinguished educational experience, and it is our duty to support them during Ramadan.”
The employees, in turn, expressed their gratitude for this thoughtful initiative, noting that such gestures strengthen their sense of belonging and appreciation within the university community. This initiative is part of a broader series of charitable activities organized by the faculty to promote social solidarity and cooperation, reflecting the university’s commitment to fostering an inclusive and compassionate educational environment.
