Biography:

INSTRUCTOR

I am a CELTA-certified English instructor with 19 years of extensive teaching experience, specializing in guiding students from diverse backgrounds and varying levels of ability. I am committed to fostering a positive and productive learning environment that motivates students to achieve their maximum potential. My teaching philosophy emphasizes a student-centered approach, enabling learners to build self-confidence and master the four key language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Currently, I work at Pharos University in Alexandria (PUA) as a full-time English instructor, where I teach General English courses to university students. In addition, I serve as an IELTS trainer for undergraduate students at the American University in Cairo’s School of Continuing Education (AUC-SCE), helping them achieve the required band scores for reputable institutions. My professional journey also includes teaching at esteemed organizations such as the Ministry of Defense Language Institute (MODLI), Alamein International University (AIU), and the Arab Academy for Science and Technology (AAST), where I specialized in ESP, technical writing, and exam preparation for IELTS and TOEFL. Beyond teaching, I have continually developed my skills through advanced certifications, such as CELTA and a Diploma in Written Translation, and I am currently pursuing an M.A. in Applied Linguistics and Translation Studies at Alexandria University. My dedication to continuous professional growth ensures that I remain at the forefront of modern teaching methodologies.
