Computer Science’s Ramadan Bag Distribution
As part of PUA’s social initiatives, the Faculty of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence launched a campaign to distribute Ramadan bags to students and faculty staff. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, expressed his delight with this initiative, highlighting its alignment with PUA’s vision to promote social responsibility and improve the lives of its community members.
Dr. Etman stated, “We are committed to providing continuous support to all members of our university community. This campaign aims to ease their burden during Ramadan and reinforce the human values that define Pharos University.”
Dr. Soha Ahmed, Faculty’s Activity Coordinator, emphasized that the distribution of Ramadan bags represents an opportunity to unite efforts between students and faculty members in serving the university community. She added, “Students’ involvement in organizing this event fosters their spirit of teamwork and cooperation, which is integral to the education we provide on campus.”
The Ramadan bags contained a variety of basic food items to meet the needs of staff during Ramadan, including supplies for iftar and suhoor. The event was organized with active student participation, under the supervision of Dr. Soha Ahmed and the patronage of Dr. Mohamed Etman.
The initiative received widespread appreciation from all participants, who expressed gratitude for this generous gesture. This event is part of a series of activities organized by Pharos University throughout the year, aimed at promoting community values and fostering a university environment characterized by brotherhood and cooperation among all.
