Pharos University participated in the Alexandria Governorate Universities Sectors Championship, which brought together eight public and private universities, including Alexandria University (AU), Alexandria National University (ANU), Damanhour University (DU), Pharos University in Alexandria (PUA), Egyptian-Japanese University of Science and Technology (EJUST), Rashid University (RU), Borg Al Arab Technological University, Alamein International University (AIU), and El Alamein International University. Held under the slogan “100 Days of Sports” from February 4 to 13, the championship featured various sporting events, with Alexandria University hosting the table tennis competition. PUA competed against ANU, AIU, and EJUST, achieving remarkable success. PUA’s team, consisting of Andrew Hani Habash, freshman dentistry student and Anas Mohamed Mohamed, Arts and Design student, secured third place and won the bronze medal in the doubles competition, marking a significant achievement at the level of participating universities.
