In celebration of Arab Environment Day, and under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design welcomed student groups from preparatory and secondary schools across Alexandria Governorate. The event began with an introductory presentation on sustainable development, outlining its global goals and the specific challenges faced by Arab countries. The presentation emphasized the critical role individuals play in making a positive societal impact.

Following the presentation, a series of interactive workshops on sustainable development goals were led by faculty members and teaching assistants. These workshops included hands-on activities such as creating three-dimensional models, collage art, paper recycling, and artistic painting. The activities were met with enthusiastic participation, with over two hundred students engaging in the workshops. The event concluded with commemorative photos featuring the Dean and Vice Dean of the Faculty, celebrating the success of the event.
