Ehab Barakat is a medical-equipment consultant and entrepreneur with a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering and electronics. He escalated from maintenance engineer to consultant for United Nations (WHO), where he has a very special interest in twinning between academia and industry. Ehab one of only 15 certified mentors in Egypt using Mowgli mentoring approach

Currently, he established a non-profit organization “Nectar foundation” as a host and official umbrella for his activities on promoting scientific research methodology within school students. On the other hand, Ehab decided to join the academia as a lecturer to transfer his accumulative experiences (i.e. technical, managerial, research…etc) to undergrad students.

I work as a pathologist. I am an Assistant Professor in the Allied medical science faculty in Pharos University in Alexandria. I teach the pregraduate students in Medical laboratory Department. I have a good experience in teaching the principles and techniques of different laboratory tests and methods. I take a leading role in arranging small group interactive seminars with the clinical fellows in the department and with the staff members.

In 1988, I achieved the M.B.B.cH from the faculty of medicine Alexandria university. In

Dr. Alaa Samir Ibrahim Hegazy received the B.Sc. in Special Biochemistry, Faculty of Science, Alexandria University with cumulative grades B + (very good with honors) in 2010. Then received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Biochemistry, Faculty of Science Alexandria University, Egypt, in 2015 and 2022. I have been appointed at Medical laboratory technology department, Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology, Pharos University – Alexandria since October 2012 till now. I participated in two funded projects the first one from the STDF grant and the second was funded from Saudi Arabia. Moreover, I was designated as reviewer in the international journal of Cancer and biomedical Research. Also, I was nominated to be scientific judge at Intel Science and Engineering Fair since 2015 till now. Finally, I was contributed as a tutor, organizer in several workshops and conferences as well and awarded for the best research and speaker in conferences concerned with Clinical Biochemistry and natural products derived drug.

Born in Alexandria on 11-26 -1975, a graduate of Sacred Heart School in 1993, joined the Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University, then graduated in 1999, with distinction with honors, ranked sixth in the batch, spent 3 years residency in Clinical Pathology Department, then was appointed Demonstrator in the same department, then Assistant Lecturer, then Lecturer, then Assistant Professor, and finally Professor in 2021.

Attended many conferences and workshops inside Egypt and abroad, in addition to 12 training courses organized by “The Development of Staff Members’ Capabilities in Alexandria University”. I worked in many private laboratories affiliated with hospitals such as Al-Anba Takla, Mabaret Al-Asafra, Al-Salamah Al-Dawli, Al-Saraya, and Ministry of Justice Medical Laboratory.

Currently an associate professor of public health (microbiology) at the Medical Laboratory Technology Department at the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology (PUA) -Major: Microbiology &Immunology. Graduate of faculty of medicine .M.B.B.ch Medicine ,1993 with an excellent degree. Master of public health (Microbiology)/High Institute of Public Health/ Alexandria in 1999. Thesis title :A Study of Urinary Tract Infection Following Diagnostic Endoscopic Urologic Procedures in Alexandria. Ph.D. Doctor degree of public health (Microbiology) at the High Institute of Public Health/ Alexandria,2004. Thesis title: Bacterial and parasitic profile of acute pediatric diarrhea with special reference to the role of three faecal screening tests in prediction of the presence of invasive enteric pathogens in stool.

Joined PUA in 2013 as a lecturer of public health (microbiology) and was involved in several courses at faculty of allied medical sciences, faculty of pharmacy and drug manufacturing and faculty of physiotherapy. A participant in the quality control committee, quality organizer for the department of medical lab technology and member of the committee of internal auditing of lab technicians at PUA.
