PUA’s Faculty of Pharmacy conducted an educational visit to the Jewelry Museum under the supervision of the Student Activities Department, led by Ass. Prof. Enas Masoud, aimed at enhancing students’ historical and cultural awareness. The well-attended visit featured a comprehensive tour during which students examined rare and precious artifacts, including royal jewelry from different eras of modern Egyptian history, personal belongings of King Fuad and King Farouk and other royal family members, along with an exquisite collection of gemstone-encrusted golden shawls and watches, and Egyptian, Turkish, and foreign medals and necklaces dating back to the era of Khedive Said Pasha. The tour also included a visit to the coin exhibition housing approximately 4,000 ancient currency pieces.

Students expressed profound enthusiasm about the visit, describing it as “a window into Egypt’s rich history,” and emphasized how such events enrich their knowledge while strengthening their connection to their country’s civilization. They particularly praised the visit’s excellent organization and the detailed explanations provided about the artifacts. Prof. Enas Masoud confirmed that “this visit aligns with the Faculty’s plan to develop students’ cultural and historical awareness and connect academic studies with Egypt’s civilizational heritage.” She added that the Faculty plans to organize more similar visits to museums and archaeological sites during the current semester as part of its commitment to holistic student development.
