PUA’s Faculty of Pharmacy welcomed Dr. Daniel Becker, a lecturer in pharmaceutical chemistry at the Free University of Berlin, Germany (FU), as part of its efforts to enhance international collaboration in university education and scientific research in pharmacy.
During his week-long visit, Dr. Becker delivered specialized lectures on pharmaceutical chemistry to undergraduate students and conducted workshops on pharmaceutical analysis research. He also engaged in discussions on developing joint cooperation between the two universities across various academic and research fields.
FU, founded in 1948, is one of Germany’s leading institutions, comprising 12 faculties and three central institutes that offer a diverse range of academic programs. Its Institute of Pharmacy is one of the largest pharmaceutical training centers in Germany, focusing on drug development, natural substance analysis, alternative testing methods, and innovative drug delivery systems.
This visit marks a significant step in strengthening academic and research ties between PUA and the FU, fostering high-quality education and advancing scientific research in the field of pharmacy.
