As part of its commitment to community service, PUA’s Faculty of Dentistry sent a medical convoy for Al-Riyada School. The convoy involved a group of department heads, faculty members, assistants, and several distinguished students. Its primary focus was to raise awareness among children about the importance of oral and dental health.
The convoy provided guidance on proper dental hygiene, including the correct methods for brushing teeth and cleaning the tongue. In addition, the team educated the children on healthy foods to consume and the unhealthy ones to avoid. To enhance understanding, the students utilized interactive educational tools such as models and brochures. The event also included the distribution of gifts and toys to the children, further encouraging their interest in maintaining good oral health and promoting a fun learning experience.
