As part of its efforts to promote the values of solidarity and social cohesion during the holy month of Ramadan, PUA’s Faculty of Financial and Administrative Sciences held a group iftar in collaboration with the Ali Ibn Abi Talib Orphanage. The event was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, with the aim of bringing joy to orphaned children and easing their hardships during this blessed month.

The iftar featured a selection of delicious meals and was conducted with full adherence to health and safety protocols. Dr. Noha Badr, CSED’s Executive Director and lecturer at the Faculty, underscored the importance of such initiatives in building bridges of communication and cooperation within the community. She also highlighted the college’s ongoing commitment to fostering a spirit of giving and social responsibility among its students.

Representatives from the Orphanage expressed their sincere appreciation for this humanitarian initiative, affirming that such events play a vital role in lifting the spirits of orphans and helping them overcome daily challenges. It is worth noting that this iftar is part of a series of Ramadan activities organized annually by the Faculty as part of its broader social responsibility agenda, aimed at supporting orphans and underprivileged members of the community.
