In an effort to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, PUA’s Architectural Engineering Department organized a field visit for senior students (ninth-semester) to the Le Marché Furniture Exhibition. Widely recognized as the largest exhibition for furniture, décor, and finishing materials in the Middle East, this visit was aligned with the requirements of the Interior Design course.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to explore the latest trends in interior design, including innovations in furniture, color palettes, wall treatments, lighting, finishing materials, ceilings, floors, and accessories. This hands-on experience is expected to significantly influence the students’ projects in subsequent stages of their interior design studies.

Moreover, the exposure to diverse and contemporary designs created by leading architects and interior designers in the Egyptian market aims to enhance the students’ artistic sensibility and overall aesthetic appreciation. This integration of real-world experience with academic learning is crucial for developing well-rounded professionals in the field of interior design.
