As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance practical knowledge and equip students with real-world skills, PUA’s Student Activities Department organized a field visit for students to the Health Insurance Complex in Ismailia. Sponsored by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, the visit aimed to familiarize students with the latest medical technologies and practices in the healthcare sector.
Upon arrival, students were welcomed in the complex’s conference hall, where a mini-introductory seminar was held to outline the complex’s objectives and the high-quality services it provides. Following the seminar, officials from the complex led the students on a comprehensive tour of its various departments. During the tour, students had the opportunity to observe state-of-the-art medical devices and advanced technical systems used to deliver exceptional healthcare services.
The visit was attended by students from the Faculties of Pharmacy, Dentistry, Applied Health Sciences Technology, and Physical Therapy, who expressed their admiration for the complex’s advanced facilities and technical capabilities. Many students noted that the visit significantly expanded their practical understanding and provided valuable insights into the latest advancements in healthcare.
This initiative reflects the Student Activities Department’s commitment to offering students educational opportunities beyond the classroom, bridging the gap between academic theory and real-world application. By connecting students with practical and field experiences, Pharos University ensures they are well-prepared to enter the labor market with confidence and competence. Through such initiatives, the university continues to foster a culture of innovation and excellence, empowering its students to become leaders in their respective fields.
