As part of efforts to strengthen collaboration between Pharos University in Alexandria (PUA) and the General Military Hospital in Alexandria (Italian Hospital), a business meeting was held between Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Gen. Dr. Hesham Shaheen, Commander of the Hospital. The meeting focused on expanding areas of joint cooperation in applied research and field training, as both parties explored various strategies to enhance mutual collaboration for their shared benefit.

The meeting was also attended by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Abdel Khaleq, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences, Brigadier General Dr. Maged Azmy, Hospital’s Therapeutic Director, and Dr. Radwa Mashraf, Faculty’s Training Director.

At the conclusion of the meeting, a cooperation protocol was signed, marking the start of a strengthened partnership, and shields were exchanged to commemorate the occasion. This collaboration reflects both institutions’ commitment to fostering innovation and excellence in education and healthcare.
