The Coordinators of the Career Development and Entrepreneurship Centre (CDEC) Convened a Meeting
On the occasion of the new academic year, the coordinators of the Career Development and Entrepreneurship Centre (CDEC) convened a meeting, chaired by Prof. Nourhan Fanaky, the Vice President of Education and Student Affairs, on Monday the 9th of September, 2019. The meeting was held in the presence of Prof. Mohamed Abdel Rahman, the Director of the Career Development and Entrepreneurship Center (CDEC); Dr. Noha Alaa, the deputy director and the CDEC coordinators at PUA faculties. At the outset of the meeting, the report of the last academic year 2018-2019 was reviewed and thanks was extended to the centre coordinators and trainers for their contribution towards the success of many of the centre’s activities like the Innoflash Competition that was held in cooperation with JAMK University in Finland as well as the courses offered by the centre and the SME Development Authority. The meeting also included presenting the centre’s work plan for the academic year 2019-2020 with regard to the entrepreneurship courses, among other courses offered by the centre, developing the communication strategy with students, providing consultations in entrepreneurship for PUA students, acquainting the new students with the centre’s activities, posting the success stories of the PUA young entrepreneurs on the university website and the steps the centre takes towards establishing a club for entrepreneurs at Pharos University.
