A Visit to Ali ibn Abi Talib Orphanage
Guided by the values of social and humanitarian responsibility, PUA’s Faculty of Mass Communication visited Ali ibn Abi Talib Orphanage to promote the spirit of giving and community engagement.
numerous faculty members and students participated in the visit, engaging with the children through cultural and recreational activities while also distributing gifts and educational materials to support and encourage them in their academic journey. Additionally, workshops were held to help develop the children’s skills and boost their self-confidence.
This initiative aligns with the faculty’s commitment to fostering student engagement with the community, allowing them to enhance their media and public relations skills through practical applications of social responsibility. It also serves as a platform for strengthening humanitarian connections between the university and the local community.
The orphanage’s administrators commended the initiative, highlighting the positive impact of such visits in bringing joy and emotional support to the children. The students, in turn, expressed their enthusiasm for participating, reaffirming their dedication to supporting underprivileged families and communities.
This visit reflects the Faculty’s vision of nurturing a new generation of media professionals and creatives who embrace the values of generosity and social commitment—ultimately reinforcing the role of media in serving society and shaping a more compassionate future.
