Petrochemical Engineering’s 17th Annual Scientific Day
The Petrochemical Engineering Department at PUA’s Faculty of Engineering successfully held its 17th Annual Scientific Day, a prestigious event attended by industry leaders, distinguished academic figures, and a high-level Swedish delegation. The day was marked by the recognition of outstanding students, faculty members, and scientific leaders for their significant contributions to the field of petrochemical engineering. Additionally, teaching assistants, laboratory engineers, and experts were honored for their unwavering support in advancing the university’s educational and research missions.
In a special tribute, PUA’s Shield was awarded to Prof. Dr. Sherif Kandil, a renowned figure in Egyptian science, in recognition of his distinguished scientific career and numerous state appreciation awards. The Swedish delegation was also honored for their role in fostering fruitful collaboration between the two sides, highlighting the importance of international partnerships in advancing scientific research.
