PUA’s Faculty of Pharmacy organized a seminar titled “Basics of Medical Cosmetics”, aimed at raising students’ awareness of the opportunities and challenges in this rapidly growing field. The event featured Pharmacist Ahmed Nabil Mahmoud and Pharmacist Emad El-Din Mahmoud Mohamed, who shared their practical experience in establishing a successful institution in the field of medical cosmetics.
The seminar provided a detailed overview of the skills required to enter this industry, including production planning, quality assurance, and effective marketing strategies. The speakers also highlighted the challenges they faced during their entrepreneurial journey, such as navigating fierce market competition and the importance of innovation and adherence to global standards to ensure success.
Numerous faculty students attended the seminar, engaging actively with questions about how to apply academic knowledge in the real world and transform ideas into viable projects. This initiative aligns with PUA’s vision of bridging the gap between academic curricula and market needs, equipping students with practical skills to lead innovation in the health and industrial sectors.
