In a lively initiative to blend joy with skill development, PUA’s Faculty of Pharmacy organized a fun day, under the supervision of the Student Activities Department. The event, themed “Bringing Joy, Building Skills,” saw enthusiastic participation from students engaged in a dynamic mix of recreational and collaborative activities, including chess tournaments, PlayStation challenges, and team-based games designed to foster camaraderie and healthy competition.
In a parallel session, female students joined yoga classes held in Room C242, led by Ms. Radwa Ahmed, Student Activities Coordinator and certified Zumba instructor. The yoga sessions emphasized the importance of mental and physical wellness, offering students tools to manage academic stress and enhance focus.
Students praised the event for its role in alleviating academic pressures and strengthening peer connections. “Days like these remind us that university life isn’t just about exams—it’s about growing together,” remarked one participant.
Aligned with the faculty’s vision to create a holistic educational environment, the initiative underscored the value of balancing rigorous academics with extracurricular engagement. By integrating recreational activities into the student experience, the Faculty of Pharmacy continues to cultivate well-rounded, creative individuals prepared to thrive both academically and socially.
