Nashwa Aly
Biography:
TESTING UNIT REPRESENTATIVE AND INSTRUCTOR
Nashwa graduated from the Faculty of Arts, English Department, Language and Translation section in 2010. She has been working in the field of education for more than ten years.
She was an English teacher for both Middle and Secondary departments in Sidi Gaber Language schools, El-Nasr Girls College, Future Language Schools and École Girard. She was an English teacher for the American Division at Victoria College as well as an IGCSE teacher at EGC. She worked as the Head of the English Department at an international school. She is currently an English instructor at the Arab Academy for Science Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT). She has also worked as an English instructor at many language centres in Alexandria such as Egyptian American Centre, Notting Hill College, American Institute of Language (A.I.L) and American Language and Computer Institute (A.L.I). There, she taught young learners and adults of different language levels.
Currently, she is attending a course at Arizona State University to earn her TESOL certificate. She was nominated by the U.S Embassy to participate in the Professional Development for Teacher Trainers course, Spring 2022. She attended several Teacher Development workshops and webinars and earned certificates of participation from Oxford, Cambridge and Harvard. This year, she is pursuing her Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics at Alexandria University. She has been working as an Assessment Specialist as well as an English Instructor at Pharos University since March, 2021.
