The Community Service and Environmental Development Committee at PUA’s Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology held an awareness campaign about diabetes. This campaign aimed at raising awareness about the risks of the disease and ways to prevent and treat it. The event emphasized the importance of proper nutrition in achieving therapeutic and preventive goals for diabetics. Targeting the university community, including students and employees, the event saw participation from numerous faculty members, students, and staff.

On the occasion of World Diabetes Day, awareness posters and brochures were distributed to attendees. The event was graced by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, along with many students from the faculty, reflecting the widespread interest in health awareness.
