PUA’s Faculty of Engineering held its second job fair, which brought together prominent experts and speakers to enhance job opportunities and foster partnerships with the industrial sector. The event featured Eng. Mahmoud Essam, Member of Parliament, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Mohandes Company, and a graduate of the Petrochemical Engineering Department, who delivered a lecture titled “Job Opportunities and Challenges in the Egyptian Labor Market.” In his talk, he emphasized the significance of the petrochemical sector and the critical role graduates play in offering innovative solutions to support the national economy.

Additionally, Eng. Adel Warshaan, Director of the Enppi Training and Development Center in Alexandria, presented a seminar titled “The Importance of Developing the Human Element in Competition and Joining the Labor Market.” He highlighted the value of skills development and field training for graduates to excel in their careers.

The fair also witnessed active participation from leading companies in the fields of petroleum, refining, natural gas, and plastics, which not only provided promising job opportunities but also commended the high caliber of the department’s graduates.

On the sidelines of the fair, the Petrochemical Engineering Department held a workshop titled “Green Hydrogen: The Energy of the Future,” presented by Dr. Ahmed Saad, Production Sector Manager at Alexandria Fertilizers Company. The workshop explored sustainable energy solutions, garnering significant interest from students, faculty members, and industry professionals.

These activities reflect the department’s commitment to enhancing employment opportunities, fostering industry partnerships, and supporting sustainable development in Egypt, while delivering an integrated educational experience that bridges theoretical knowledge with practical applications.
