PUA’s Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management held a seminar on promoting unknown tourist destinations, as part of the department’s cultural season for the fall of 2024-2025. The seminar hosted Prof. Mohamed Saad, former Director of the Regional Authority for Tourism Promotion, who presented on “Innovative Strategies for Marketing Egypt’s Cultural Heritage and Overcoming Challenges.” He emphasized the importance of leveraging Egypt’s rich heritage to build a sustainable tourism future while preserving the authenticity of the sites and cultural heritage.

In parallel to the seminar, a photography competition was held, inviting students to capture the essence of Egyptian heritage through their creative lenses. The submissions, which included photos, videos, and reports on various tourist destinations across Egypt, were judged by a distinguished panel, considering both creativity and the documentary value of the entries.

At the end of the event, the winners were honored with certificates of appreciation and valuable gifts in recognition of their exceptional efforts in showcasing Egypt’s tourist and heritage beauty.
